Overview: As the Warehouse Manager for our Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC contracting company, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of our warehouse facilities. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in supporting our projects and teams in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC materials and equipment.
• Regularly conduct inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to support project needs.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss and optimize stock turnover.

• Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Ensure all incoming shipments are properly inspected and documented.
• Coordinate with project managers to prioritize outgoing shipments according to project timelines.
• Supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

• Organization and Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, utilizing proper storage techniques to maximize efficiency.
• Implement procedures for equipment maintenance and repair to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Manage disposal of obsolete or surplus materials in accordance with company policies and regulations.

• Quality Control:

• Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Monitor product condition and storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Implement measures to address quality issues and improve overall warehouse processes.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Generate reports on inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and warehouse performance metrics.
• Maintain documentation of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
• Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the electrical, plumbing, or HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Experience with field service management software such as Service Titan.
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC materials and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members and vendors.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Forklift certification and knowledge of safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
